The coalition government formed as a result of the election on February 8 made an announcement regarding the prices of petroleum products.
Shahbaz government has decided to maintain the price of petrol for the next 15 days, while the price of high speed diesel has been reduced by one rupee 77 paise.
It should be noted that Shahbaz Sharif took oath as the Prime Minister on March 4 and now the coalition government has decided for the first time regarding the prices of petroleum products.
The new prices will be applied from March 16 to March 31, the price of petrol will remain at 279 rupees 75 paisa per liter, the price of high speed diesel will be reduced by one rupee 77 paise, the new price of high speed diesel will be fixed at 285 rupees 56 paise per liter.
